What Clients Say

"I had been avoiding looking at my pension statements for years because I found them confusing. The health check session with Naluri Wira was the first time someone sat with me and explained what the numbers actually meant. I left feeling like I understood my own retirement for the first time."

"After my father passed away, my family had no idea how to begin claiming his EPF savings. We were grieving and the paperwork felt impossible. Naluri Wira took everything over — we only needed to provide the documents they asked for. They handled everything else, and with real kindness."

"I needed a hibah arrangement for my EPF savings and was nervous about the process. The lawyer was patient and explained the difference between hibah, nomination, and faraid distribution very clearly. We went through two drafts before I felt certain the document said what I wanted it to say."

"I had seen another firm before Naluri Wira, and they charged me by the hour and were difficult to reach. Here, the fee was fixed and I heard back within a day whenever I had a question. The difference in experience was significant."

"My husband retired from the government service and we did not fully understand the pension entitlements. The health check gave us a clear picture — including a couple of things we had missed. The lawyer was thorough and never once made us feel rushed or foolish for not knowing."

Case Summaries

How the work looks in practice

Case Study — Survivor Benefit Claim

The Situation

A widow in her sixties, whose husband had been a civil servant for 28 years, was left with no guidance on how to access his KWAP survivor pension or EPF death benefit. She had received letters from two different agencies that she did not understand.

What We Did

We gathered all required documents from the family, liaised with KWAP and EPF on their behalf, translated all correspondence into plain language for her, and submitted both claims simultaneously. We followed up with the agencies weekly until the process was complete.

The Outcome

Both claims were resolved within eight weeks of submission. The widow's monthly survivor pension was activated without interruption, and the EPF death benefit was disbursed to the nominated beneficiaries. The family did not have to attend any agency office in person.

"I didn't know where to start. Naluri Wira took it all from my hands."

Case Study — Pension Trust & Hibah Structuring

The Situation

A retired couple — both Muslims — had substantial EPF savings but no estate plan in place. Their adult children included one from a previous marriage, and they wanted to ensure the distribution of savings reflected their intentions, not a default faraid division.

What We Did

We met with the couple across three sessions over six weeks, working through their wishes carefully. A Syariah advisor was engaged to review the hibah instruments. Two wills and two hibah arrangements were drafted, revised, and reviewed with both clients before anything was signed.

The Outcome

The couple left with a settled, well-understood plan covering both their savings and their property. Each child's position was clearly documented, and both clients understood exactly why the arrangement was structured as it was. The process took nine weeks in total.

"We finally have a plan we both understand and agree on. That is not a small thing."
